Youth Ministry

Discipleship Groups

Currently, we have two Discipleship Groups for St. Patrick's Middle School (Grades 5 to 8) and High School (Grades 9 to 12) students. We also offer seasonal events for our elementary school students.

What are Discipleship Groups?

Discipleship Groups build upon the foundation of faith established at home and in Faith Formation classes, guiding youth toward a deeper relationship with God, His Church and each other. We do this through fun, engaging content, prayer, Scripture and conversations about our Catholic faith. We use content from LifeTeen Catholic Youth Ministry; parents are welcome to request to view materials.

Discipleship Group Registration

Parents are asked to please fill out the Discipleship Group Registration form for each of their children who would like to participate. If you would like more information about St. Patrick's Discipleship Groups and upcoming Youth Ministry events, please contact Liz: eneis@syrdio.org

CORE Team

Are you interested in volunteering in St. Patrick's Youth Ministry? A CORE Team member must be a committed disciple of Jesus living an authentically Catholic life and be willing to accompany St. Patrick's youth as they encounter Christ through the beauty of the Catholic faith. Team members should expect to attend team meetings to prepare to minister to the youth.

You must also be a registered, active member of St. Patrick's Parish and complete Safe Environment Training. Contact Liz to set up a meeting with her and our Faith Formation Director to learn more about volunteering with the Youth Ministry.
