Formerly named "St. Agnes Cemetery," St. Patrick's Parish Cemetery is located on both sides of Salt Springs Rd., just past Tobin Drive in Chittenango, NY. Burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery is for St. Patrick's parishioners & their families.
Families may plant flowers in front of the headstones of their loved ones, approximately 6 inches out from the headstone. Trees and shrubs are not permitted. All other work (maintenance/setting of headstones, etc.) is done by cemetery staff.
Items such as shepherd’s hooks, solar lights, lawn decorations, etc. that can become damaged, entangled and cause potentially dangerous hazards to our cemetery workers and machinery are NOT permitted on the graves.
The cemetery closes* for the season on November 1.
*You are welcome to enter the cemetery during daylight hours to visit your loved one's grave, but please be advised
that the drive is not plowed in the winter. Also, winter burials are rare and dependent upon ground conditions.
