Liturgical Ministers
The celebration of Mass is an act of all assembled gathered for worship, and the participation of all the faithful in the Liturgy is important. In addition to the priest and deacon, lay people place their time and talents at the service of the assembly as altar servers, extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion, lectors, cantors, instrumentalists and ushers.
Others contribute their time and talent to planning and preparation for Mass- keeping the church, vestments, sacred vessels clean or decorating the church in keeping with the Liturgical Season.Â
Those who volunteer in these Liturgical roles need to be well prepared and know how to carry them out with reverence, dignity and understanding.
Children & Youth who wish to serve as Altar Servers must be in at least the 4th grade.
Those who wish to serve as Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, Cantors & Sacristans must be Confirmed Catholics.
If you are interested in volunteering in any of these roles, please contact the Parish Office.
